First group going to TUMO from Istanbul delighted
For the first time, a group of students from Istanbul went to TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Armenia. Students from 14 countries, including Egypt, USA, Russia, France, Switzerland, Germany, Canada and Lebanon attended the summer camp between July 17 and 30. 14 students from Istanbul were also there.

Price of establishing a pork packing plant in Turkey

As part of “Just Governance for Human Security” conference, people from Armenia, Turkey, Lebanon, Spain and Netherlands discussed historical problems among Armenian, Turkish and Kurdish people, and ways for resolving those problems today.

The largest property return might remain unfulfilled
The municipality filed a lawsuit to the Administrative Court for getting back the land that was returned to Surp Pırgiç Hospital in 2014. After losing that lawsuit, the municipality appealed to Council of State. And 10th Chamber of the Council of State made an unprecedentedly quick ruling and reversed the judgment of the court by reasoning that the land that was expropriated by the municipality cannot be returned to the foundation.

The ideal athlete: Smart, agile and not Armenian
The Genocide Museum in Yerevan hosted an exhibition that is titled “Armenian Sport and Gymnastics in the Ottoman Empire”. The museum director Hayk Demoyan, who wrote a book bearing the same title with the exhibition, and 80-years-old grandson of Shavarsh Qrisian, who were issuing Marmnamarz magazine during Ottoman period and exiled to Ayash in 1915, attended the opening of the exhibition. Alin Ozinian, by way of this exhibition, observes how the Armenians’ contribution to the sports culture of these lands was excluded from the official history and she makes room for a reckoning that is related to remembrance, oblivion and forgiveness.
