Two young people, two massacres — Ozan Can Akkuş and Ali Deniz

Ozan Can Akkuş is one of the victims of the bombing attack that took place in Kızılay yesterday. He was a freshman in Middle East Technical University (METU) Electric and Electronic Engineering Department.

Akkuş was a close friend of Ali Deniz, who died in the attack that took place near Ankara Train Station on October 10.

After the attack on October 10, Akkuş shared a message for Ali Deniz via his social media account: “His biggest dream was to study in Ankara. How could he know? Even our tears won't wash away the blood in your hands. That great man will haunt you and he will always be in our hearts.” And Akkuş died in the bombing attack that took place yesterday.

Berkay Baş was also a student in METU and died in the attack yesterday. METU released a message of condolence online.
