Armenian Churches in Georgia will be heated by Azerbaijan
State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, SOCAR made a long-term contract to supply gas to all the churches and monasteries in Georgia.
The secretary of Catholicos-Patriarch, Mikael Botkoveli said, “Azerbaijan will help not only Orthodox churches, but all the communities, including Armenian churches,” and added that it would be impossible to heat the churches and monasteries in Georgia if SOCAR haven’t conducted this project.
SOCAR made similar contracts with Georgia Armenian Orthodox Church, Muslim communities, Catholic Church and the Jewish community there.
