Pope will visit Egypt as planned
In Egypt, state of emergency is declared after the suicide bombing in Coptic churches in Tanta and Alexandria cities that killed 44 people. While the security measure are tightened in the country before the Easter on this Sunday, Vatican announced that Pope Francis will visit Egypt as planned.

“Armenian Genocide resolution” in Egyptian parliament
According to Anadolu Agency's report based on sources from Egyptian parliament, Deputy Mustafa Bekri has presented the resolution to Parliamentary Speaker Ali Abdel-Al. 337 deputies has signed the resolution.

Did the Muslim Brotherhood burn 1915 documents?
Media in Armenia and the Diaspora have been rocked by the claim of Nabil Na’eem, the founder of the Democratic Jihad Party in Egypt, who stated that the Muslim Brotherhood received a payment from Turkey to incinerate documents related to the Armenian Genocide. There was a fire at the building where the documents are held; however Armenians in Egypt treat the claims with caution.
